Feeling greedy

We don't have an H&M where I live, but if any of you out there feel like sending me a little prezzie, here is what I want:

Hilda Grahnat is one of my contacts on Flickr and this morning I noticed she had uploaded some pictures from her beutiful home. I wanted to share it with you here, but then I saw that it is already featured on Design*Sponge today. I was pleased to find out that she has a beautiful blog and even an online shop. I started looking through her photostream. Found out that I have already posted one of her pictures here without crediting, so here's fixing that. This picture sums up how I'm feeling today... Somewhere out there the sun is shining but between me and the sunny side are thick walls and cloudy windows... I just have to find my way out there...

Let them eat cake!

Today is No Diet Day, so here are a few yummies!

First up, Nigella's banana bread. I just love a slice of banana bread with a ton of butter on top. It's got to be what the Danes call 'tooth butter'... meaning that you can see teeth marks in the butter after you bite it.

I've been having a love affair lately. It's come as a total surprise to me, I never imagined this could happen to me. With peanut butter of all things! I just can't get enough. So from one of my favorite food (well, cake) websites, Bake or Break, a peanut butter pie with cookie crust!

And last but not least, Jamie. Oh Jamie what can I say? I don't find you cute like many women out there, but boy would I kill to have you wine me, dine me... and send me home with this chocolate love cake with cherries and booze... what more could a girl ask for?

Small bedrooms inspiration

Over easter we're planning to switch rooms with our little boys, we get the small room and they get the big room where there will be space for all their toys. I've been gathering some inspiration lately so here are some pics. As you can see, there is no need to compromise on style even if the room is small.

I like the narrow shelf with some chosen items as a combined headboard and nightstand.

This is just soooo nice and clean. Love the built in shelves.

This room is actually quite big, but i just love the bed, it's so textured, yet so crisp.

Cozy. I like the low pendant light.

I'd love a vanity desk shelf like that. And that mirror!

A nightstand made up of some of my favorite things. Books and mags and a light to read by.

I'm definitely going to get an alarm clock, I use my phone to wake me up now and by the time I'm finished hitting the snooze button it's completely out of battery, not to mention the hazard of sleeping with mobile phone radiation next to your head all the time.

And I promise myself that I'm going to be organized and plan my outfits at least two days ahead and hang them on a rail on the wall looking all pretty.

I really love a nice white, crisp and clean bedroom, but I might consider a 'colour' like that grey on the wall. It's gorgeous!

Unfortunately, since I've been gathering inspiration over some time, I can't remember all the sources. Copenhagen dreaming...

Friends of mine are selling their flat in one of the best areas of Copenhagen. All of a sudden I'm daydreaming about cobbled streets, rye bread and bicycles...

I came across an image of this chair and was instantly intreagued... my first thought was 'beutiful!' but then I saw this feather thing it has going on...
